2019 Make It In a Day Workshop

Every year we invite the community to join us for a “Make It In a Day” Workshop. The Cambria Scarecrow Festival provides all of the materials and supplies to all those that attend.

After a short instructional introduction, all of the participants are free to make their scarecrows as they like. They dress them as they like, paint their faces, and accessorize them with the clothing provided.

Experienced scarecrow volunteers are readily available to assist anyone that needs help or advice. All that the participants need to bring is their imaginations!

These scarecrows are then stored until October when they are placed out for display. It is amazing how much can be accomplished in a matter of four to five hours!

We are always surprised with the fresh ideas these participants bring to the workshop!
