DR. CROW

Dreamers and builders of scarecrows

Dr. Crow Begins with Lots of Smiling Faces on Scarecrows and People

We’re building and refreshing scarecrows Monday through Friday starting at 10:00 am

You are welcome to join us on days that are most convenient for you. No experience necessary. We will get you started on a project for any of our three main exhibits: Storybook, Pirates, and Coco. You can repurpose an old scarecrow or build a new one. We’re creating props and painting backgrounds. And all the ghosts need sprucing up. You might want to bring something for lunch (we have a fridge). Water, juice, Diet Coke, chips, and trail mix are always available so you won’t starve if you forget. Plus we’re right around the corner from Boni’s Tacos. Yum!

Volunteer Here!

They meet at their convenience in Tin City at our Cambria Scarecrow Festival workshop. Volunteers need not have any experience! There is always a helpful hand nearby to answer questions or to give advice.

This is most often the first step in learning how to make a scarecrow. It is a wonderful way to make new friends, laugh a lot, and create something wonderful that will improve our displays in October!

It would help to know when you plan to come in and then just show up. Please email terri@terripilot.com or text 760-525-8832 and leave a message about what days and times you plan to help out.
