Friends Program and Free Scarecrows
When you donate $100 or more to the Friends Program, you can select a scarecrow to display absolutely FREE.
Becoming a friend of the scarecrows you will get to choose your scarecrow the first of September. Once you select your scarecrow, you do not have to do anything more. Scarecrow will be delivered, set up, and attended to all month, and it will be taken down after the festival.
Your scarecrow can be placed in front of your business or, if you’re not a business owner, placement will be determined by the set-up committee.
SCARECROW TIERS
Your level of giving determines the tier of scarecrows from which you choose.
We’re setting it up in a shopping cart format on our website. The selections will be first-come first-served. If you need help selecting your scarecrow, we are more than happy to help you.
We expect the scarecrows to be available for selection by September 1, 2023. We will send you a reminder when the scarecrows are ready to be selected.
FREE SCARECROWS BY CATEGORY
Tier 1: $100-$150
Small scarecrow, great for businesses that do not have a lot of room in front of the business.
Tier 2: $200-$250
Full size scarecrow, the kind of scarecrow that has made the festival so popular.
Tier 3: $300-$350
• Full-size scarecrows. • CONTACT BOOST: For the additional $100 donation, business will get mentioned was ”SPONSOR OF THE WEEK“ in the newsletter that goes out to the thousand that receive our newsletter.
Tier 4: $500+
• Full size scarecrows or small display. • CONTACT BOOST: Mentioned in newsletter • FACEBOOK BOOST: Mentioned/featured on Cambria Scarecrow Festival FB page.

The Cambria Scarecrow Festival attracts thousands of tourists and shoppers to Cambria and San Simeon every year. Many of those visitors stay overnight and spend money locally.
Our whimsical displays bring joy to residents and out-of-towners alike every October. Your donation helps to make this happen.
