The Scarecrows Are Coming!

Raggedy Andy & Raggedy Ann will be part of the 2022 Scarecrow Festival.

The Scarecrows are soon to be up and having a good time all around the towns of Cambria and San Simeon. In our 14th year you will want to take your time and stroll around the downtown parts of Cambria and San Simeon. You will find them on Burton Drive, Main Street and Moonstone Beach Drive in Cambria and on the two main streets in San Simeon, Castillo Drive and Hearst Drive. This year the Scarecrows have returned to the sidewalks in front of our wonderful businesses. Who knows you may come upon a Scarecrow that will sing for you.We will also have some larger displays. You don’t want to miss the Open Air Art Museum in the lot next to the Shell Station in the West Village of Cambria, the Pirates are back bigger than ever in San Simeon next to the San Simeon Bar and Grill. The RecycleScarecrows from our Cambria Recycle Challenge Workshop are at the Cambria Center of Arts. The Nonprofits of Cambria have a display in from of the Santa Rosa Catholic Church on Main Street (see addresses below). You will want to see the creative Scarecrows that some of the children of Cambria made, which are along the fence in front of the Oak Terrace Mobile Home Park and many more smaller displays. (see some of the address of displays below)So many Scarecrows that you could spend a week and not see them all. Come and enjoy them from October 1st – 31st. It is the best bargain around. You and the family can come and enjoy all the Scarecrows for free!

If you are going to be around the weekend of October 29th you might want to come to our big party at the Cambria Nursery. Please check out our website for more information and tickets.
